This course covers basic through advanced PBM topics, including PBM trends and benchmarks. Course highlights include key components and characteristics of a PBM, formulary management, and cost-sharing. Our experienced instructors have held a variety of positions in all aspects of pharmacy management, including health plans, PBMs, hospitals, and private pharmacies.

Consumer-Directed Health Plans (CDHPs)
In their efforts to control health care costs, more employers are considering CDHPs as an integral part of their long-term plans. This course addresses the universe of consumer-directed products, services, and tools — HRAs, HSAs, and High-Deductible Health Plans — from definitions to implementation to current trends.
Our consumerism experts will explain plan design, selection, and implementation strategies; IRS regulations; and marketing and sales considerations. You will also learn about developing a clear communication plan, assessing client needs, and outlining concrete objectives, all of which are critical to a successful implementation strategy.
